I was lucky to have sat beside the brand creator Alix at the Awards (I also won Interiors Instagrammer of the Year!) so she gave me a wonderful insight into how she devised this evocative scent. Made with up to 11 essential oils including notes of geranium, fern, stone, it comes in superbly designed smoky glass jar inside a really cool and contemporary box, illustrated with a line drawing of a patchwork of fields. If you have friends and family abroad this is the perfect Christmas gift to send them to perfectly convey that very unique but utterly impossible to articulate smell of Irish rain.
