With Love, Ireland

The buzz for St Patrick's Day is building here in Ireland, so I want to send some greetings out to friends and family. Yes, I could just text or tweet, but I think it's far more personal to send a card.

St Patrick's Day is a wonderful time to reach out to friends and family both home and away, and a great opportunity to showcase the very best of what's happening in Ireland right now.

Last Christmas, while strolling along the market stalls on Stephen's Green, I came across a fabulous display of contemporary Irish gift ware by designer Máire Keogh called 'Sealed with Irish Love'. Inspired by her childhood memories of growing up in the West of Ireland, she's created a contemporary range of stationery, textiles, and ceramics featuring beautiful designs of a windswept hawthorn tree; an old Irish bicycle; a traditional village water pump; and an old wooden signpost. I bought some of her greeting cards and a lovely notebook (you can never, ever have enough notebooks) and I also want to get some of her cute mugs and tea-towels.

'Sealed With Irish Love' products are definitely on my list of perfect Irish gifts and I'm so delighted to be able to send contemporary Irish designed and Irish made cards, instead of the mass produced 'made anywhere but Ireland' leaping leprechauns variety. Her range definitely has these Irish eyes smiling.
